Speaking Services - Jennifer Britton - Teamwork, Leadership, Coaching, Virtual

Since 2004, Jennifer has spoken to thousands of professionals - virtually and in-person on topics ranging from virtual and remote teamwork, to coaching skills, work-life issues and taking the road less traveled.
Jennifer Britton delivers interactive presentations to groups ranging in size from 10 to hundreds. Not your typical "talking head" keynote, Jennifer's roots as an experiential educator and community animator continue to this day. With groups of all size she integrates story, with small breakout work. Her presentations are known for their focus on practical, actionable tips which audience members are encouraged to take back to the workplace.
She is the author of five business publications, two which focus on virtual conversations and remote teams. Her first two books, Effective Group Coaching (Wiley, 2010) and From One to Many: Best Practices for Team and Group Coaching (Jossey-Bass, 2013), have been used by coaching training schools and university programs for a decade. She published Effective Virtual Conversations (2017) to reflect her passion and expertise around virtual conversations and leadership, followed by her 2019 PlanDoTrack: Workbook and Planner for Virtual and Remote Professionals. Jennifer is considered a thought leader in the field of coaching groups and teams, particularly in the remote space. She brings a coach-approach to her presentation placing an emphasis on goal-setting, awareness, action and personal accountability.
As a former virtual team leader and Program Director who was based and worked throughout Central and South America, the Caribbean and Europe, with the United Nations and Canadian and British NGOs for more than a decade at the first part of her career, her stories of real time leadership and teamwork are entertaining and inspiring! As she started out as a remote leader herself in the early 1990s - remote was remote without the internet!
Jennifer's the co-host of the popular Remote Pathways podcast, launched in fall 2019 which explores the adventures of many different types of remote workers including those who have pivoted. Recent topics in spring 2020 have included Conflict in the Remote Space, Styles in the Remote Space, Remote Team Effectiveness, and Building Trust and Connection in the Remote Space. Testimonials
"Your true mastery in engaging a group -- whether in person or online -- shone brightly yesterday and we are so appreciative of the hour and a half you spent with us. All who joined were clearly engaged, and inspired by your superb demonstration of how to do it really well. Walking the talk at its finest! Thank you so much!" - Michelle Lane, Halifax
"Jennifer delivered a well-designed, professionally-delivered virtual webinar program to our ICF Ohio Valley Chapter called "Avoiding Death By Conference Call: Approaches and Techniques for Creating More Effective Virtual Coaching". In the program, she outlined the basics for delivering thoughtful virtual group coaching and included tips on technology and engagement. Our coach participants were very complimentary of the program. I was so impressed with Jennifer I immediately ordered her book, Effective Group Coaching! ICF Ohio Valley so appreciates Jennifer giving back to the coach community by sharing her vast knowledge and expertise." - Michelle Naiser, Spring 2018
